I’ve tweeted several times recently about the plight of Annie Leibovitz. For the moment, the world famous portrait photographer has regained control of her rights – http://bit.ly/4zgzkF – although it remains to be seen for how long. But, the story certainly emphasizes the importance of maintaining control of the rights to your own intellectual property. Canon has taken a gutsy step with the introduction of its new G11 “point and shoot” camera. The latest in the popular and successful ‘G’ lineup, the configuration of the new G11 is significant because it takes the MegaPixel count in a downward direction!
