Long Point School House Art Show / by Ted Kaiser

I was honoured to be invited to show my photography as part of the Lyndhurst Art Trail art and culture tour. This one day event took place on Sunday, September 29th, 2019 featuring 17 barn quilt locations, 12 local attractions and trails and 23 special art exhibit locations, including the Long Point School House where I joined in on the fun. The Long Point School House was built in 1862 on land owned by my ancestor, Daniel O’Connor. All of the art in the school house during the event was created by descendants of Daniel O’Connor, and I’m very proud to be related to all of these fine, talented folks! I’m including a photo of all of us that was taken by Tanya Hammond, a local photojournalist, who covered the event. Also, here is a link to a video Tanya created covering the event and many of the artists.
