Thanks to the excellent nautical services of the intrepid Captain Michael Spence and plucky First Mate Jacquie Thomas, I enjoyed a pleasant dinner and sunset cruise of the Toronto area in Lake Ontario on a stormy weekday evening. Sailing out of the Mimico Cruising Club in a 33 foot sloop in nearly still conditions, we enjoyed some colourful views of the Toronto skyline at sunset before an approaching thunder storm sent us back to the marina for a last few evocative night shots.
